The album launching also featured inspirational and motivational talk from Umar Saidu Isa on the importance of education to one’s and other people’s career. While comparing and contrasting between career and education, he noted that education is an integral part of one’s career world.
Also speaking on the topic: “Believe in yourself even when nobody believes in you,” President of the Union of Campus Journalists (UCJ), UNILORIN, Osuji Ichima, recalled how he pursued his second degree in Law, mindless of age being against him.
He charged the audience at the gathering to change the narrative of what they stand for, like him, imploring them to be focused and to keep soaring like eagles.
In his talk entitled, “Never let negative comments way you down”, National President of the National Association of Kwara State Students (NAKSS), Musa Muhammad Mancha, recollected how he sacrificed his First Class as a 200 level student of Bio-Chemistry Department to pursue his Medicine dream, which he got with the least of his JAMB scores after his relentless struggle to be admitted to study his choice of profession.
The Kwara state students’ President who observed that it cannot be smooth when it is not rough, enjoined youths to be dutiful to themselves and their academic pursuits, before any other things or persons.
